Sludge Wave (Japanese: ヘドロウェーブ Sludge Wave) is a damage-dealing Poison-type move introduced in Generation V. It has been TM34 since Generation V.

Effect

Sludge Wave inflicts damage and has a 10% chance of poisoning the target. Sludge Wave will hit all Pokémon in Double Battles and all adjacent Pokémon in Triple Battles.

Description

Games Description
MDGtI It damages nearby enemies. It could also cause the Poisoned status condition. With the Poisoned status, they keep taking damage and can't restore their HP naturally.
SMD It damages nearby enemies. It could also make them poisoned.
