The subset adds more of the newly introduced {{TCG|Tag Team}} {{TCG|Pokémon-GX}} to the TCG.

The subset introduces [[Z-Crystal]]s to the TCG as {{TCG|Pokémon Tool}} cards which give a GX attack to a Pokémon provided it has a specific {{TCG|attack}}. There is a particular focus on the {{TCG|Grass}}, {{TCG|Water}}, and {{TCG|Colorless}} types, as well as {{pkmn2|Legendary}}, {{pkmn2|Mythical}}, and [[Ultra Beast]] Pokémon.
