(Japanese: ショウブ Shōbu) is a character of the day who appeared in BW100. She is a resident of the Village of Dragons and a childhood friend of Iris. She is a Pokémon breeder, and was entrusted with the care of two Zweilous which were close as they hatched from their eggs on the same day. However Shōbu had dreams of leaving the Village of Dragons and travelling like Iris, but felt that she couldn't abandon the Pokémon she was raising. After one of the Zweilous evolved into Hydreigon and was calmed down from a rampage it went on, Shōbu asked the Elder if she could go on a journey once the second Zweilous evolved. The Elder agreed, telling Shōbu that she only had to ask.
Shōbu reappeared in a flashback of BW101 when Drayden witnessed Iris's handling of her Hydreigon.

| This Zweilous was the younger of the two, and was close to what he considered to be his older brother. When the elder brother evolved into Hydreigon, Zweilous was the one that warned Shōbu what was about to happen.

| Hydreigon first appeared as one of the two Zweilous Shōbu owned and was the older one of the two. Like many Zweilous, this Pokémon had a large appetite and was close to his 'little brother'. After evolving, it was terrified after seeing its new form and started to go on a rampage. Eager to prove herself as a future Dragon Master, Iris used her Dragonite and Emolga to force Hydreigon into a corner and then called on Axew and Excadrill to keep him contained. Iris then jumped on Hydreigon and was able to get him to calm down. He then reunited with his brother.
Hydreigon's known moves are Draco Meteor and Dragon Rush. | ||
