The '''Rocket Scout''' (Japanese: '''勧誘のばあさん''' ''Solicitor Old Lady'') is a [[character of the day]] who appeared in ''[[EP231|Dues and Don'ts]]''. Her job is to find worthy candidates for [[Team Rocket]] members.

The Scout recruited [[Jessie]], [[James]], and {{MTR}} back into Team Rocket after looking in the computer system and realizing they weren't in it. When the trio discovered that their membership with Team Rocket had expired, they were shocked.

Initially, she presented them with a {{OBP|Delibird|Team Rocket}} in a cage with a recorded message, claiming that she had "caught ever so many of this {{OBP|Pokémon|species}}", so she was "leaving it here" for them to catch. After they defeated it, she asked them to join the real Team Rocket, as they were clearly "fake, phony frauds". After an evaluation of their membership cards, she informed them of how they had not paid the necessary dues and had been booted out of Team Rocket altogether.

After they decided to rejoin, she informed them that they must defeat a group of Trainers before joining and, coincidentally, selected {{Ash}} and {{ashfr}} as candidates. Even after using the help of Delibird, Jessie and James were defeated in battle. After their defeat, she decided that they could still join, as Team Rocket was already suffering from a lack of members.
