 This Litten first appeared in ''[[SM001|Alola to New Adventure!]]'', relaxing on the beaches of [[Melemele Island]] before it was accidentally stepped on by {{Ash}} when he was racing with {{AP|Pikachu}}. Litten, in anger, attacked Ash with Ember and walked off. Litten was later seen in [[SM004]], being fed by an old lady in a marketplace on the beach, where it saw [[Ash's Rowlet|a wild Rowlet]] carrying off a wind chime.

After being treated, Ash brought Litten to Kukui's house, but it managed to escape in the middle of the night. Having learned this, Ash decided to give up on capturing Litten, leaving it to care for its caretaker. Suddenly, the group was attacked by the Alolan Persian from earlier. Ash had everyone leave the house, where Pikachu and Litten then started battling the Persian. Litten eventually defeated Persian, and successfully protected Stoutland.
