Rapid Spin (Japanese: こうそくスピン Rapid Spin) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation II.

Effect

Rapid Spin inflicts damage and removes the effects of any trapping moves, as well as entry hazards, from the user or allies. The following moves are affected by Rapid Spin:

Rapid Spin cannot remove Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Stealth Rock trap on the floor. In addition, Rapid Spin also removes these effects from the user.
