The '''Rain Dance Deck''' is a predominantly {{e|Water}} type deck found in the [[Pokémon Trading Card Game Player's Guide]]. The deck is classified as one of the tournament winning deck, containing more rare cards and strategy than other easy-to-build decks.

<ab>''This is a mono-color Water Evolution Deck with a very simple point: Build up big monsters and decimate the opposition with massive damage. Both Blastoise and Gyarados are very powerful fighters with 50+ attacks. Gyarados' Bubblebeam is incredible useful as a 40 damage, 50% paralyzing attack. When a single swipe of Dragon Rage cannon get the job done, a lucky coin flip on Bubblebeam can keep the defender defenseless until our next turn. With some lucky coin tosses enemy monsters big and small will go down one after another without being able to do much.

Your opponent may not be able to defeat one of your monsters, but with Rain Dance and Oak, you will have a second (or more) waiting on the bench ready in short order. Most decks can't deal with so many big monsters in quick succession, and will soon run out if energy while you tear through their ranks unopposed.

Despite the fact tat it is mono-color, this deck is not really weak against any other solitary color deck. A ready Gyarados is formidable against a Lightning opponent who is eyeing your Blastoise and Blastoise can jump in when Grass decks give you the scare. Combined with the fact that no existing Pokémon are resistant to Water, and this deck is hard to consistently beat.
