• Hariru gets ready to attack again when Miruto stands in his way and begs him to just take the Compass of Light.
• Hariru takes Ryoga's Burst Heart instead, but Carola appears, takes it from him, and gives it back to Miruto, under 'the boss's orders.'
• Yappy, the untrustworthy journalist, decides he's had enough of danger and runs away with the Compass of Light.
