Psybeam (Japanese: サイケこうせん Psyche-beam) is a damage-dealing Psychic-type move introduced in Generation I.

Effect

Psybeam does damage and has a 10% chance of confusing the target.

Psybeam can be used as part of a Pokémon Contest combination, with the user gaining extra three appeal points if Calm Mind was used in the prior turn.
