History
Pryce obtained a Piloswine ever since he was young. During a tournament Pryce entered in, Piloswine manages to defeat a Nidoking with Take Down, a Golem with Fury Attack, and an Ursaring with Blizzard, freezing it in the process. Piloswine was on a roll until it went up against a Trainer with a Magmar. Pryce was confident that Piloswine was going to defeat Magmar. The battle began and one of Magmar's attacks burnt the Ice. When Magmar used Fire Blast to finish it off, Pryce jumped in the way to prevent it from getting hurt. As a result, both Pryce and Piloswine suffered burns and were taken to a cottage. Piloswine left the cottage to get some herbs to cure Pryce from his burns. However, it did not come back leading Pryce into thinking that it abandoned him.

As seen in the flashbacks in As Cold as Pryce, Pryce had his Piloswine even when he was a young Trainer, and treated it like family. One day, when they were up against a Magmar, Pryce protected his Piloswine from Magmar's Fire Blast with his own body, and as a result they were both burned badly. Piloswine left to find herbs that would help heal Pryce's burns, but got frozen on the way back, leaving Pryce to think it abandoned him.
Years later, Ash and Pryce go into a cave where they find Piloswine. It was revealed that Piloswine managed to get the herbs but fell down and became frozen. Pryce was happy to reunite with his old friend. Ash melts the ice surrounding Piloswine with Cyndaquil's Flamethrower. With Piloswine thawed out, Pikachu then uses Thundershock on the Ice-type to give it more energy. With Piloswine revived, Pryce is then told that by Piloswine that it remembers him. Piloswine uses Rest to recover from the wounds it suffered from. Ash, Pryce and Piloswine leave the cave and reunite with Sheila, Misty and Brock. TRT show up and Piloswine takes on their Jessie and James. Piloswine attacks them with Fury Attack first and then freezes them with Blizzard, leaving Pikachu to finish them off.

Years later, Ash and Pryce found Piloswine frozen in a cave and set it free. Pryce and Piloswine were reunited. Later Pryce used it in the Gym battle against Ash in Nice Pryce, Baby!
In Nice Pryce, Baby!, Pryce grooms Piloswine for his upcoming Gym battle. He sends it out after Dewgong was defeated by Cyndaquil. Piloswine began with Blizzard which took Cyndaquil out in one hit. Pikachu is then sent out. Pikachu is hit by Piloswine's barrage of Blizzard attacks. Pikachu takes advantage of this after one of the Blizzards formed an ice pillars by having him slide under Piloswine and uses Thunder. Piloswine uses Rest to recover. After waking up, Piloswine counters Pikachu's Quick Attack with a combination of Take Down and Fury Attack. Pikachu uses Thunderbolt but has no effect this time. Piloswine once again uses the combo and starts to get tired. Pryce throws in the towel and goes up to Piloswine, rewarding it for a job well done.

It defeated Cyndaquil easily and put up a fierce battle against Pikachu before Pryce forfeited as Piloswine had become tired.
