Professor Phorus appeared in the first chapter Aeos Energy, reminiscing about her youth with her Metagross. She then announced the opening of Aeos Island for Unite Battle tournaments alongside Erbie.

Phorus reappeared in In Search of an Aeos Energy Spot. She and Erbie were searching for a new Aeos energy spot in a mountainous area, where they then discovered the location that is later named the Theia Sky Ruins.
