This card was first released in the {{TCG|Black & White}} expansion, originating from the {{TCG|Black Collection}} in Japan. In Japan, this card was reprinted as one of the {{TCG|BW-P Promotional cards}} in a ten card random pack released during the February 2011 Gym Challenge. It was later reprinted with new artwork by [[Kanako Eo]] in the {{TCG|Reshiram-EX Battle Strength Deck|Reshiram-EX}} and {{TCG|Zekrom-EX Battle Strength Deck}}s. This print was released in the English {{TCG|Dark Explorers}} expansion. The original print was later included in the {{TCG|Hydreigon Half Deck|Hydreigon}} and {{TCG|Garchomp Half Deck}}s, the {{TCG|Master Deck Build Box EX}}, the {{TCG|Black Kyurem-EX Battle Strength Deck|Black Kyurem-EX}} and {{TCG|White Kyurem-EX Battle Strength Deck}}, and the {{TCG|Blastoise + Kyurem-EX Combo Deck}}. It was then released as a {{TCG|Full Art card}} in the {{TCG|Plasma Freeze}} expansion, originating from the Japnese {{TCG|Thunder Knuckle}} expansion, with new artwork by [[Kanako Eo]]. The original Black & White artwork was reprinted again in the English {{TCG|Plasma Blast}} expansion. A special Crosshatch Holofoil of the original print was made available to members of the Professor Program during the 2012-2013 {{TCG|Pokémon League}} Cycle.
