Professor Icarus first appeared in a flashback given by | Professor Icarus first appeared in a flashback given by some townspeople while they were explaining experiencing random mental visions coming into their minds while visiting or being around his house. {{an|Cilan}} is intrigued and the trio decide to go investigate Icarus's house. Icarus invites them in and as they discuss the strange occurrences, Icarus suddenly gets a vision of a machine exploding and rushes to his basement. {{Ash}}, {{an|Iris}} and Cilan follow him and a find a large machine is overloading and on the verge of exploding. Icarus then tries to shut down the system but isn't able to in time and orders that they unplug the machine. The plug is too heavy for them to pull out on their own! Then, an {{p|Elgyem}} appears and uses {{m|Telekinesis}} to pull out the plug. Icarus introduces the Elgyem as his friend. | ||
