This was the first CoroCoro illustration contest, announced October 15, 1997 in the November 1997 issue of CoroCoro Comic. Trivia
Origin
Mega Punch and Hydro Pump are both moves in the Pokémon games that Poliwrath can learn, the former only via TM01 (Generation I) or Move Tutor (Generation III), and the latter only as a Poliwhirl. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Blue.
