The Pokémon Fan Club (Japanese: ポケモン大好きクラブ Pokémon Lovers Club) is an organization spread throughout the Pokémon world, with at least one Club House in nearly every region. The club is basically a place for people to meet and chat about their favorite Pokémon and to show off their collections to each other. In general, the members are usually more oriented to unevolved, cute Pokémon and Pokémon Contests than Pokémon battles.

In the games

The Chairman of the Pokémon Fan Club has appeared in every main series Pokémon game. Gabby and Ty often visit the Club House in Hoenn to do interviews with enthusiastic Trainers.

Trainers of the Pokéfan Trainer class are members of the Pokémon Fan Club. In Platinum, members of the Pokémon Fan Club randomly appear in the Battle Frontier facilities.

In the anime

The Pokémon Fan Club has not appeared in the anime. However, it is known that Mr. Sukizo is the President.

In the manga

In the Pokémon Adventures manga

Pokémon Fan Clubs are found in Kanto, Hoenn and Sinnoh regions. In Kanto and Hoenn the club houses are marked with plaques featuring a Pikachu located in front of the building, while the Sinnoh club house is shown having a heart-shaped plaque in front of the building.

The Kanto branch is introduced in Danger: High Voltorb in the Red, Green & Blue arc. Red is made an honorary member of the club by the club's chairman after he saw Red's Pokémon. The members are primarily made up of a group of middle-aged Pokéfans that talk about their favorite Pokémon and read the club magazine. They hate to force Pokémon into battles and they prefer unevolved ones, because they're cuter. In the manga, their Pokémon are stolen by Team Rocket, but they're returned to their Trainers in Buzz Off, Electabuzz! when Red defeats Lt. Surge.

The Hoenn branch is introduced in Tripped Up by Torkoal where the Pokémon club's chairman brings Ruby to the club house after making him an honorary member of the club.

The Sinnoh branch is introduced in Perturbed by Pachirisu where Diamond, Pearl and Platinum are made honorary members of the club and taken to the club house by the chairman.

Pokémon

These Pokémon were shown being owned by the Kanto fan club members. Most of the Pokémon are small and often considered cute.
