A Pokémon Exploration Team Kit is a package given to new Exploration Teams at Wigglytuff's Guild. It contains items useful for exploring dungeons, including an Explorer Badge, a Wonder Map, and a Treasure Bag. It is similar to the Rescue Team Starter Set given in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team.

In the games

Wigglytuff presents a Team Kit to the player and their partner after they decide on a name for their Exploration Team. The Treasure Bag included contains a stat-boosting Scarf and an Aura Bow depending on the Aura the player was determined to have at the beginning of the game.
