The music is arranged by Hitomi Satō and Gō Ichinose, except for less than a tenth of the tracks, which are mostly short sound effects.
The soundtrack is divided into four discs, each featuring Ken Sugimori art of the legendary Pokémon Kyurem (disc 1), White Kyurem (disc 2), Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem (disc 3), as well as Rayquaza and Giratina (disc 4). The CD booklet features self liner notes by Gō Ichinose and Hitomi Satō (which include portraits and their in-game Trainer Cards), as well as running commentary by the two on some of the tracks found on the album. It also features a lot of exclusive artwork of Unova locations, some of which is explanatory concept art. Otherwise, the booklet contains general information on the tracks included, the game scenario, and the sound team, and is illustrated with various stills from the games and Ken Sugimori art of characters found in the games.
