==Translation edits==
[[VIZ Media]] has started a "second series" with this volume, publishing the {{chap|Diamond & Pearl}} concurrently with older volumes from the {{chap|Gold, Silver & Crystal}}, using this volume as #1 of the second series. Although it is unknown why they decided to release a second series (most likely to catch up with the series quicker), the reason behind why they are calling the {{chap|Diamond & Pearl}} "Diamond, Pearl and Platinum" (unlike in Japan, where D/P and Platinum are two separate chapters entirely) is most likely due to the fact that there is another Pokémon manga released by VIZ Media entitled [[Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Adventure!]], which may have caused confusion if they had titled the second series "Pokémon Adventures: Diamond & Pearl".
