All four parts of this Pokémon were released as {{TCG|SWSH Black Star Promos}} in the {{TCGMerch|Sword & Shield|Series|Celebrations Special Collection—Pikachu V-UNION}} from October 8, 2021. A composite {{TCG|Jumbo card}} was also included in the collection. In Japan, the cards were available individually in the {{TCG|25th Anniversary Collection}} subset.

The full illustration comprises twenty-five {{p|Pikachu}} created by twenty-five different artists, showcasing the range of approaches featured in the TCG as it celebrated its 25th anniversary.
