Release information

This card was released in POP Series 4, originating as one of the Japanese PCG-P Promotional cards. In Japan, it was released as part of a McDonald's campaign in July 2005. A Cosmos Holofoil version of the English print was available in the EX Dragon Frontiers Two Pack Blisters, released in April 2007.

Trivia

While the card is similar to the Pikachu card from Jungle, it is not a reprint of that card. The key difference is in the attack costs: this card's attack cost is LightningColorless, while the Jungle Pikachu's attack cost is LightningLightning.

Origin

Spark is a move in the Pokémon games; however, Pikachu could not learn it until Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire in Generation VI.
