→‎With Reggie: i dont know who deleted this, but i'm not pleased. the whole point of weavile not having an article is for the detail to improve this article. To have no detail on either page is silly. However, as compromise i've reduced detail.

|desc=Weavile made its first appearance in Top-Down Training!. It was used in a battle against Cynthia's Garchomp. Despite having a type-advantage, Weavile lost easily to Garchomp. |desc=Weavile made its first appearance in Top-Down Training!, where it fought Cynthia's Garchomp. Its Ice attributes gave it an enormous advantage over the Dragon/Ground. It opened with a powerful Blizzard, but Garchomp shielded itself with its fin and took next to no damage. Garchomp then used Dragon Rush, which caused Weavile to freeze. Instead of trying to dodge, Paul ordered Weavile to use Ice Beam. However, Garchomp was able to dodge the attack and slam itself into Weavile, knocking it out cold. Paul later revealed that he caught Weavile while journeying through Hoenn, Johto and Kanto.

It was not seen again until Riding the Winds of Change! where Paul used it and Paul to capture Paul, and again until Aiding the Enemy, where it was seen training with Paul. It appeared again in Pedal to the Mettle!, where it was one of the battlers in Ash and Paul's full battle. It lost to Ash's Staraptor, despite the type-advantage.
It reappeared in Riding the Winds of Change! where Paul used it to attack numerous wild Gligar and their Gliscor leader, before Murkrow drove them away. Paul kept Weavile out when he tracked them down later, where it used a single Ice Beam to blast Team Rocket off. It then used Blizzard to freeze the entire group of Gligar solid. Paul then came out to battle alongside Weavile, but Gliscor freed its pack and the confusion prevented the pair from landing a successful attack. The two focused better and hit Gliscor with an Ice Beam/Thunder combination, allowing Paul to capture it. Paul then recalled both of his Pokémon and left. In Aiding the Enemy, it was seen sparring with Paul. It managed to strike Torterra, who was distracted by the plight of Ash's Grotle, with a powerful Ice Shard. However, once Paul snapped at it, Torterra hit Weavile hard with a Frenzy Plant.

It appeared again in Battling a Thaw in Relations! at Reggie's house, where it, along with Paul's Torterra, Ursaring and Honchkrow, was unhappy to find out Paul had lost.
It appeared again in Pedal to the Mettle!, where it was one of the battlers in Ash and Paul's full battle. Its only opponent was Staraptor, and it was hit by Quick Attack. It then used Swords Dance to improve its attack power, before repelling Staraptor's next Aerial Ace with a powerful Blizzard. Showing uncanny speed, Weavile managed to jump onto Staraptor's back and use Metal Claw, slashing it to the ground before leaping nimbly to safety. However, Staraptor came back and used Close Combat to trade blows with Weavile's Metal Claw. The Fighting move managed to inflict damage on Weavile, sending it flying back as Ash called for Brave Bird. Weavile attempted to counter with Blizzard, but Staraptor was too powerful and managed to knock Weavile out on contact. However, between the recoil suffered and the damage Weavile inflicted, Ash had to recall it.
