Pokémon world locations |
Pattern Bush (Japanese: しるしのはやし Symbol Thicket) is found on a small, offshore island to the north of Fortune Island. To reach Pattern Bush, it is necessary to surf a short distance from mainland to the island, using the Water Path.
Pattern Bush is carpeted in a thick undergrowth, perfect conditions for the multitudes of Bug Pokémon who call this place home.

An intriguing aspect of Pattern Bush is the mysterious empty patches of ground. No reason for this phenomenon is given, although the Trainers battling there have their own suspicions. It may be a reference to the Nazca lines or crop circles. However, from looking at the map from a distance, the area resembles a microchip, or more specifically, the game cartidge's internal printed circuit board.
