Trainers may be battled here daily; in {{game|Black and White|s}}, these Trainers can only be battled after defeating [[Elesa]]. The Trainer varies with the season and the gender of the player, and—with the exception of Black and White's Preschooler Winter—only their Japanese names are related to the correlating season; however, in {{game|Black and White|s|Black 2 and White 2|2}}, the Hiker Natsumi (Andy in Black and White) appears in the autumn and not the summer as he originally did, furthermore he appears in front of the female character, instead of the male character, possibly as Game Freak's response for fans' comments regarding Natsumi/Andy's dialogue in the Japanese version of Black & White. After the battle, the Trainer will accompany the player on the wheel. In the Japanese version, the conversations on the Ferris wheel are laced with {{wp|double entendre}}s.
