Nidoking (Pokémon): Difference between revisions

It [[Evolution|evolves]] from {{p|Nidorino}} when exposed to a {{evostone|Moon Stone}}. It is the final form of {{p|Nidoran♂}}.

It is related to {{p|Nidoran♀}} and can produce {{pkmn|Egg}}s that contain either Nidoran♂ or Nidoran♀ when [[Pokémon breeding|bred]] with {{p|Ditto}}.

[[Gary Oak]] has a Nidoking that first appeared in ''[[EP063|The Battle of the Badge]]''. He called on it to battle [[Giovanni]]'s {{p|Golem}} during their Gym battle. Nidoking was shown to have tremendous power as he managed to {{m|Tackle}} Golem head on, launching it across the battlefield, and defeating it in one hit. However, when Giovanni used {{OBP|Mewtwo|original series}} to battle, Nidoking was no match, and was defeated handily. Gary's Nidoking was briefly seen again in ''[[EP077|The Fourth Round Rumble]]'' battling [[Melissa]]'s Golem, but much unlike his battle with Giovanni's Golem, he was defeated easily.

A Nidoking appeared under the ownership of [[Oscar and Andi|Oscar]] in ''[[AG072|The Bicker the Better]]''. His girlfriend Andi had a {{p|Nidoqueen}}. They had a [[Double Battle]] with {{Ash}} and {{an|May}}, and due to Oscar and Andi's communication with each other, they were able to defeat Ash and May with relative ease.

A Nidoking appeared in ''[[DP128|A Pyramiding Rage!]]'' under the ownership of [[Paul]]. He was used to battle against {{FB|Pyramid King|Brandon}}'s {{DL|Brandon's legendary titans|Registeel}}. Although shown to be powerful and versatile, Registeel was still able to hold its own and brought down Nidoking.

Two Nidoking appeared in ''[[M12|Arceus and the Jewel of Life]]'' under the ownership of [[Damos]].

A Nidoking appeared in ''[[BW135|Mystery on a Deserted Island!]].''

Nidoking first appeared in ''[[EP047|A Chansey Operation]]'' as a sick Pokémon.

Nidoking also appeared in ''[[M02|The Power of One]]''.

Multiple Nidoking also appeared in ''[[M04|Celebi: Voice of the Forest]]''.

A Nidoking was one of the Pokémon defeated by [[Wings Alexander]]'s then {{p|Hoothoot}} as seen in his flashback in ''[[EP223|Throwing in the Noctowl]]''.

In ''[[EP237|As Cold as Pryce]]'', a Nidoking appeared in [[Pryce]]'s flashback as one of the Pokémon which fought against his {{TP|Pryce|Piloswine}}.

A Nidoking under the ownership of an unknown Trainer battled in a qualifying match for the [[Silver Conference]] in ''[[EP266|A Claim to Flame!]]''.

A Nidoking also appeared in ''[[DP140|Historical Mystery Tour!]]'' with a {{p|Nidoqueen}}.

A Nidoking appeared in the opening scenes of ''[[M13|Zoroark: Master of Illusions]]''.

A Soldier's Nidoking appeared during a flashback in [[SS036]].

A Nidoking appeared in [[SM003]], as a silhouette.
