Newscaster (Trainer class): Difference between revisions

A '''Newscaster''' (Japanese: '''ニュースキャスター''' ''Newscaster'') is a type of [[Pokémon Trainer]] that first debuted in the [[Generation III]] games, appearing in {{g|Colosseum}} and the [[Generation IV]] games. The newscaster generally has a cameraman with her, and a double battle against the newscaster and the cameraman ensues. Often, any battles against her will be described on TV, with the cameraman apparently showing the footage he caught.

In Colosseum, Newscasters could only be battled in Colosseums, and the only one with a name was [[Ancha]], who appeared at the very end of the game at the battle with [[Fein]]. In {{Pokémon XD}}, Ancha now works for [[ONBS]], and Newscasters can be found at [[Mt. Battle]].
