The island is most famous for its bodybuilders and people interested in getting into shape. The unique part about the island is that they use Pokémon to help them accomplish this in addition to regular exercise equipment.

When {{Ash}} and {{ashfr}} visited Muscle Island, they were greeted by [[Rocky]], who runs a fitness bootcamp on the island. Later, Rocky had a [[Double Battle]] with Ash, to prove that his training methods created strong Pokémon. Meanwhile {{an|Brock}}, {{an|May}}, [[Max]] and {{TRT}} all exercised to the point of exhaustion.
