Trivia

The Moon Stone later appeared in the TCG as a held item on a Clefairy card from Secret Wonders.

Origin

This card and its effect are based on the Moon Stone, an item in the games which is used to evolve Munna, Skitty, Clefairy, Jigglypuff, Nidorino, and Nidorina. The fact that it searches for a Colorless-type Evolution card is likely related to the fact that most of the Pokémon that evolve by way of the Moon Stone in the games are Normal-types, and in the TCG, Colorless-type.
