Miror B.

Miror B. (Japanese: ミラーボ Mirorbo) is a character from Pokémon Colosseum and Template:Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness.

In Pokémon Colosseum, Miror B. is one of the four Cipher Admins. A man with a gigantic two-toned Afro (which resembles a Poké Ball turned on its side), garish glasses, and dressed in a golden sequin-studded leisure suit. Miror B. is loud and flamboyant. He spoils his Ludicolo, and would rather spend time teaching them how to dance than fulfilling his duties as a Cipher admin. An example of this is seen in Pyrite Town, where he basically let his grunts do whatever they wanted as long as they left him alone to practice his dancing.

He is the only one of the Cipher admins to not receive a Legendary Pokémon. Alternatively, he is the only admin to have his own theme music. His theme is Latin style music in Pokémon Colosseum, and disco style music in Pokémon XD, and whenever he is about to engage in a battle, he is known to exclaim, "Let the music play!"

His name is probably derived from mirror ball.

In Pokémon Colosseum

Miror B. makes his first appearance in Phenac City "terrorizing" the mayor, Es Cade. He sent some of his minions to attack Wes and Rui and announced that Cipher was behind the strange crime wave that had hit Orre.

Later, Miror B. is found in Pyrite Town, where he has kidnapped a Plusle belonging to the town's hero, Duking, and is holding the Pokémon hostage. With Duking unable to do anything, Miror B. ran the Pyrite Colosseum and handed out Shadow Pokémon to winners.

Silva attempts to foil the scheme by sneaking into Miror B.'s Hideout, but is defeated by the guards, at wich point Wes and Rui show up and rescue him.

When Wes first confronts Miror B., his Pokémon are four Ludicolo. He also had a Shadow Sudowoodo. This Sudowoodo is later replaced by Armaldo. Miror B.'s battle strategy consists of using Rain Dance and Leech Seed to regenerate the health of his Pokémon. After the battle Miror B. retreats then and isn't seen again for quite some time. However, if Wes returns to the hideout, he would find that in Miror B's place is a Trainer claiming to be his 'successor', Mirakle B..

The next time Miror B. shows up is at Realgam Tower where he is guarding one of the keys needed to unlock the tower itself.

After Cipher and Team Snagem are defeated, Miror B. can still be found as an opponent in the Deep Colosseum.

Miror B. later appeared in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, with a completely new outfit but still with his trademark afro. He is no longer an admin of Cipher, instead attempting to set up Team Miror B. together with Trudly and Folly. He is the only character in the games to be known as a Wanderer.

In this game, when a Shadow Pokémon is defeated before it is snagged and its Trainer can't be rebattled, Miror B will obtain the Pokémon. He can be found at any Poké Spot, Pyrite Colosseum, and Realgam Colosseum. He has three set appearances: Cave Poké Spot, Outskirt Stand, and Gateon Port's lighthouse. After capturing all Shadow Pokémon Miror B will appear at the lighthouse in Gateon Port. He will have a Shadow Dragonite, the final Shadow Pokémon of the game. Thanks to a radar placed on him by Trudly and Folly, it is easy to find him when he is around.

Trivia

  • In Colosseum, Miror B. is the only Cipher Admin that does not own a Shadow Legendary Pokémon.
  • When Miror B. first appears in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, he moon-walks into the cave.
  • Miror B. may be a homage to the Gitaroo Man character, Mojo King Bee, as both like music, and look similar.
