Release information

This card was awarded to the top three competitors from each age division in each of the regional Japanese Battle Road Summer 2007 tournaments held between July and August 2007. It was awarded again in the same manner to participants of Battle Road Spring 2008 tournaments; however, the last three scheduled conferences were canceled in response to a threat letter sent to Pokémon Card Laboratory in early April 2008. Details of each event this card was awarded at are below.

  • Tōhoku region conference: Aztec Museum, Sendai on July 21 and 22, 2007.
  • Hokkaidō conference: Sapporo Community Dome, Sapporo on July 28 and 29, 2007.
  • Kantō A conference: Makuhari Messe, Chiba on August 4 and 5, 2007.
  • Chūbu conference: Port Messe Nagoya, Nagoya on August 11 and 12, 2007.
  • Kantō B conference: Pacifico Yokohama, Yokohama on August 18 and 19, 2007.
  • Chūgoku conference: Hiroshima Sun Plaza, Hiroshima on August 25 and 26, 2007.
  • Kansai conference: Kyocera Dome Osaka, Osaka between August 31 and September 2, 2007.

Battle Road Spring 2008

  • Hokkaidō conference: Sapporo Park Hotel, Sapporo on March 23, 2008.
  • Kansai conference: Asia & Pacific Trade Center (ATC), Osaka on March 29-and 30, 2008.

Canceled:

  • Kantō conference: Sunshine City, Tokyo on April 12 and 13, 2008.
  • Chūbu conference: Nagoya Congress Center, Nagoya on April 20, 2008.
  • Kyūshū conference: Fukuoka Kokusai Center, Fukuoka on April 29, 2008.

Trivia

  • Based on the distribution at regional tournaments, an estimated 90 copies of this card were awarded. Had the remaining three scheduled Battle Road Spring 2008 tournaments taken place, this figure would be 117.
  • The gold foil stamp below the card text reads "Pokémon Trading Card official card game tournament award".

Origin

This card and its counterpart released earlier in the year are references to Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.
