(Japanese: '''マオ''' ''Mao'') is a relatively minor [[character of the day]] in [[BW038]]. She is voiced by 藤村知可 ''[[Chika Fujimura]]'' in Japanese.

[[Officer Jenny]] asked {{an|Iris}} and [[Rina]] to watch after Mao's {{p|Audino}} after many Audino began to disappear in the town. Mao was concerned that her Audino would be the next to disappear. Rina and Iris assured her that they had everything under control and put a tracking device on her Audino. Her worst fears came true when Audino began to act strangely and left her side.  

After the case was solved, it is assumed that Mao got her Audino back safe and sound.

|desc=Mao's {{p|Audino}} was suspected to be the next victim of the Audino disappearance case. Iris and Rina watched after it and put a tracking device on it so that even if it ran away, they would be able to follow it. Soon Audino began acting strangely and left Mao. It joined up with two other Audino and traveled to [[Team Rocket trio|Team Rocket]]'s secret base all while trying to throw {{Ash}} and {{ashfr|friends}} of their trail. After {{AP|Roggenrola}} used {{m|Stone Edge}} on the sound wave machine, Audino joined forces with the other Audino that Team Rocket lured and sent them running with a barrage of different moves.

None of Audino's moves are definitely known but it is possible that it knows {{m|Psychic}}, {{m|Hyper Beam}}, {{m|Shadow Ball}}, {{m|Ice Beam}}, or {{m|SolarBeam}}.}}
