(Japanese: ミカエル Michael) is a minor recurring character of the Pokémon anime. He first appeared in Curtain Up, Unova League!, where he participated in the Vertress Conference and was Bianca's first opponent. However, in Mission: Defeat Your Rival!, he was defeated by her and eliminated from the tournament.

| Watchog is the only Pokémon Michael is known to have on hand. It was used in the first round of the Vertress Conference against Bianca's Emboar. In Mission: Defeat Your Rival! it was defeated by him however.
