Mewtwo Project, is the project for Team Rocket in the Pokémon Special. The project was to create a new Template:P2 for Giovanni. The Mewtwo was created using the DNA of both Mew and Blaine, and due to an accident during the process, Blaine gained some of the mixed DNA on his hand, allowing him to track the location of Mewtwo.
