He brought along a pile of berries which attracted the {{p|Zigzagoon}}'s attention. They get angry when Max ran out of berries and Ash, May, {{an|Brock}}, and Nicholai arrive to save Max. When Nicholai led the Zigzagoon away from the group, Max apologized for his actions earlier.
