'''Madeleine''' (Japanese: '''みやび''' ''Miyabi'') is a [[character of the day]] who appeared in ''[[EP244|Enlighten Up!]]''.

She is a student of ten years at the [[Slowpoke Temple]] in [[Johto]]. She is the follower of a religion similar to {{wp|Buddhism}} in which the founder meditated along with some {{p|Slowpoke}} until he cleared his head of all worldly thoughts and found enlightenment.

She had previously meditated along with {{Gary}}, spurring on {{Ash}} to attempt the temple training as well. Madelaine took Ash, {{ashfr}} and {{TRT}} through a series of exercises including cleaning and fishing; however, Ash and Team Rocket were too distracted to successfully complete the tasks. Later, she and her newly evolved {{p|Slowbro}} defeated the Rocket trio after they tried to steal the Slowpoke Temple's golden statue.
