He and his assistant, Skyler, discover a site of ruins but Hale is sucked into the dimension of the Unown, soon after Professor Hale's disappearance Skyler arrives back in Greenfield, He speaks with a man in the mansion and Molly comes rushing down to see Her Father. Molly is told the news by Skyler and goes downstairs in shock and sadness, She goes on Her fathers laptop trying to find out what happend, but soon She sees the box Her Father discovered in the ruins, and She sees all the Unown shapes, assuming they are letters, She spells, Mama, Papa and Molly, and the Unown come to life from the blocks and start making her dream world a reality, Skyler comes rushing in the main hall where She is but the Unown seal the door in ice, then Molly starts wishing Her father was there and the Unown bring Entei to her making Him think Molly is His child, they pan out and we see the new Greenfield, and the movie starts. | ||

However, Entei kidnaps Delia, following Molly's request for a mother as well. Through Entei's powers, Delia is hypnotized into thinking she is Molly's mother and ends up being kidnapped. Ash, Misty, Brock and their Pokémon head out to the mansion to save Delia, communicating with Professor Oak and Skyler thanks to a PokéGear device given to them by a Pokémon trainer named Lisa. Team Rocket try to investigate the mansion only to be blasted out of the air by Entei into the depths of the mansion. Molly watches Ash and the others through a television and falls asleep, imagining herself being a Pokémon Trainer. Entei creates a dream version of Molly as an adult trainer and takes her to battle the three.
