'''Lotus''' (Japanese: '''ロータス''' ''Lotus'') is a [[character of the day]] who appeared in ''[[BW132|Searching for a Wish!]]''. She lives with her husband [[Carlton]] and their daughter [[Gemma]] in a valley on [[Capacia Island]] in the [[Decolore Islands]].

Lotus first appeared treating Gemma, who had injured her leg while trying to climb up a mountain in pursuit of a {{p|Jirachi}}. When Gemma told of her yearn for Jirachi to grant her wish, Lotus explained to {{Ash}} and {{ashfr}} that the valley they live in wasn't always as dry as it now was. Two years prior, it was once a fertile, vibrant land with a lot of vegetation. However, the climate grew hotter, and this caused the land to dry up. All of their neighbors moved away, while her husband Carlton left on a research expedition to find a solution to the drought.

Lotus was supportive of her daughter's idea to have Jirachi, who often resides in the valley, restore the valley to the vibrant land it once was. Day after day, Lotus attempted to regrow her [[revival Herb]] crop, but with no luck. When Jirachi granted Gemma's wish and the land was restored, Lotus replanted her garden which finally began to grow. In addition, she and Gemma were reunited with Carlton.
