Expansion Pass Bundle Poké Balls

These 100 Poké Balls were distributed from November 6, 2020 as a purchase bonus for any players of the physical Pokémon Sword or Shield + Expansion Pass bundles. They were distributed by a personalised code sent via email and are received alongside the existing Pikachu and Eevee Uniforms available for purchasing the Expansion Pass. The codes do not have a known expiration date.

Gigantamax Centiskorch Dynamax Crystal

This Dynamax Crystal, named ★Sgr6859, was distributed from September 25 to October 25, 2020 via serial code exclusively through stores in Europe. When used, a Pokémon Den at the Watchtower Ruins becomes active with a Gigantamax Centiskorch which is guaranteed to have maximum IVs in HP, Attack, and Defense.

Participating stores include Smyths Toys in the UK, GameStop in Austria, Germany, Italy and Switzerland, PicWicToys in France, Intertoys in the Netherlands, and Fnac in Spain.

Korean Invitational King's Rock

Shiny Zeraora Armorite Ore

These eight Armorite Ore were distributed alongside a Shiny Zeraora from June 30, 2020 to celebrate passing over 1 million victories in the Zeraora Max Raid Battle event. To receive them, the player must have moved a Pokémon to or from Pokémon HOME and Pokémon Sword and Shield between June 17 and July 6, 2020.

For the first time, the personalised distribution code was released via Pokémon HOME to be input in Pokémon Sword or Shield.

The Isle of Armor Promotion Packs

These item packs were distributed weekly before the release of the first part of the Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass; The Isle of Armor. As part of a campaign by the @poke_times twitter run by The Pokémon Company, the handle was taken over by the Ball Guy. During this time, the twitter posted this retweet campagin, promising rare Poké Balls if players retweeted it enough times. Eventually, all goals were met, and a set of nine total Poké Balls, including the Apricorn Balls, Dream Ball, and Beast Ball, were distributed via universal, region-free serial code. All codes expired on January 15, 2020.

Pokémon Sword and Shield Double Pack Dynamax Crystals

These Dynamax Crystals, ★And15 and ★And458, were distributed via serial code to those who purchased the Pokémon Sword and Shield Double Pack, both standard and steelbook, which contained both games. The ★And15, for use in Pokémon Sword, grants one-day access to a Max Raid Battle with a Larvitar, while the ★And458, for Shield players, activated the chance to battle a Jangmo-o. Both Pokémon are base forms of Pseudo-legendary Pokémon that cannot otherwise be found in the wild in their respective versions. The codes do not have a known expiration date.
