This is a reverse-chronological list of other event distributions that were given away to all region Pokémon games in Generation VIII.

List of event distributions

@poke_times Rare Balls

As part of a campaign by the @poke_times twitter run by The Pokémon Company, the handle was taken over by the Ball Guy. During this time, the twitter posted this retweet campagin, promising rare Poké Balls if players retweeted it enough times. Eventally, all goals were met, and a set of nine total Poké Balls, including the Apricorn Balls, Dream Ball, and Beast Ball, were distributed via universal, region-free serial code. All codes expire January 15th, 2020.

Pokémon Sword and Shield Double Pack Dynamax Crystals

These Dynamax Crystals, ★And15 and ★And458, were distributed via searial code to those who purchased the Pokémon Sword and Shield Double Pack, both standard and steelbook, which contained both games. The ★And15, for use in Pokémon Sword, grants one-day access to a Max Raid Battle with a Larvitar, while the ★And458, for Shield players, activated the chance to battle a Jangmo-o. Both Pokémon are base forms of Pseudo-legendary Pokémon that cannot otherwise be found in the wild in their respective versions. The codes do not have a known expriration date.
