This is a list of Pokémon obtainable from events found in the Generation III Pokémon games. These Pokémon can only be obtained once per game. However, non-Legendary Pokémon can be bred to make extra members of their respective species.

To solve the puzzle leading to Regirock in the Desert Ruins, the player must read the Braille inscription in the rear of the lobby, then go two steps right, then two steps down, and then use Strength.

Legendary beasts

After the player defeats the Elite Four, one of the Legendary beasts of Johto will start roaming Kanto. The beast that appears varies based on what Pokémon the player chose as his or her starter. In the case of Raikou and Entei, the player should be wary of the Roaming Roar glitch; if the beast uses Roar to flee from battle, it will permanently disappear.

Sudowoodo

Sudowoodo is located in the southeast section of the Battle Frontier. Much like in Generation II games, NPCs will talk about it as a tree. However, when the player uses the Wailmer Pail on it, it will spring to life. This is the only location of Sudowoodo in the Generation III handheld games.
