Pokémon HOME Gift Box Pokémon

The following Pokémon can be received from the mobile version of Pokémon HOME through the Gift Box in the Mystery Gift section after competing certain tasks. The player has the opportunity to nickname the following Pokémon listed below upon receiving them, and their OT and ID match the nickname the player has on the Mobile version.

Pichu

This Pichu is given to the player as a reward for completing their first challenge and using the sticker they receive from it to decorate their Binder.

This Original Color Magearna, made available to the public for the first time, is given to the player as a reward for successfully completing the Living Pokédex. However, details appear to be unclear as to its distribution, with some receiving a Magearna, while some have not received one at all.

Magearna is presently the only Pokémon distributed by Pokémon HOME itself that cannot be sent to Pokémon Sword and Shield at the time of its launch.

Pokémon HOME Starting Pokémon

HOME Pikachu

This Pikachu is found in the Basic Box when the player starts either the Nintendo Switch or mobile version of Pokémon HOME for the first time. Unlike other HOME-based Pokémon, this Pikachu is always Japanese in origin if the player's first login was on the Switch. On mobile however, it follows the language of the player's preference. Either way, it comes with a with a preset original Trainer and ID number.

Mobile Version Kanto Starters

When the player starts the mobile version of Pokémon HOME for the first time, they will be given their choice of Kanto Starter Pokémon from Grand Oak. While it is not mentioned by Grand Oak, the starters have their Hidden Abilities. The player has the opportunity to nickname the following Pokémon listed below upon receiving them, and their OT and ID match the nickname the player picks when they start the mobile version.

Bulbasaur and Squirtle, despite not being present in the Galar Pokédex at the time of HOME's launch, are present in the data of Pokémon Sword and Shield, and may be sent there freely.
