This is a list of event Pokémon distributions given away in celebration of the Japanese star festival Tanabata. Until Generation VI, they were all Jirachi that have berries that are rare or not available in the games.
Members of the official Japanese Pokémon fan club, Pokémon Daisuki Club, could enter a contest held between June 15 and July 2, with the winners receiving a postcard good for redeeming a Jirachi from a Pokémon Center retail store. Entry was done by sending a "wish" to Jirachi in the Daisuki Club's web site.
This Pokémon is also known as the Tanabata Jirachi for 2009. It was available in Japanese McDonald's restaurants, the Nintendo Zone and over Wi-Fi. This Pokémon is also the first one to be distributed via Wi-Fi.
Moves in bold can be taught again at the Move Reminder as a special move if forgotten.
Date received is the receiving system's date when the Wonder Card is received.
This Pokémon is set to the same language as the game that received it.
Distribution
In all languages, the distribution text and title are in Japanese, but the Wonder Card uses the Pokémon Center Tohoku type text in the language of the receiving game.
This Jirachi will be distributed via local wireless at the Pokémon Center Tohoku in Japan from July 18 to August 16, 2015. Its original Trainer will vary depending on the game used to obtain it: the Jirachi distributed to Pokémon X and Y will have the original Trainer 「おりひめ」 Vega and the Jirachi distributed to Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will have the original Trainer 「ひこぼし」 Altair.
