This is a list of Nintendo event Pokémon given away in celebration of the Japanese star festival Tanabata. So far, they are all Jirachi that have berries that are rare or not available in the games.

Members of the official Japanese Pokémon fan club, Pokémon Daisuki Club, could enter a contest held between June 15 and July 2, with the winners receiving a postcard good for redeeming a Jirachi from a Pokémon Center retail store. Entry was done by sending a "wish" to Jirachi in the Daisuki Club's web site.

This Pokémon is also known as the Tanabata Jirachi for 2009. It was available in Japanese McDonald's restaurants, the Nintendo Zone and over Wi-Fi. This Pokémon is also the first one to be distributed via Wi-Fi.
