However, in time, people began to forget about Calyrex and it slowly lost most of its powers, and {{p|Glastrier}}/{{p|Spectrier}} abandon it as a result. Calyrex remains alone and forgotten until encountered by the player. Only one of the two steeds are available; the location at which the player plants the Carrot Seeds determines which one.
