Lear (Japanese: ライヤー Raiā) is a character introduced in Pokémon Masters. He is the founder of Pasio and the Pokémon Masters League.
In the games
Lear is the prince of an unknown country. After losing to an unnamed Trainer wearing a hat, Lear built the artifical island of Pasio and founded the Pokémon Masters League with the hopes of overcoming his weaknesses. He is supported by his subordiates, Sawyer and Rachel.
