Ketch Appy, often referred to as Detective Ketch Appy, is a minor character introduced in Pokémon Platinum.

He is the star of his own television program, in which he is often billed as a "child prodigy". In the program, he is a detective who uses the Pokétch to solve crimes. However, most of his plans are usually disrupted by errors he makes in using it, such as forgetting that the Memo Pad app resets if the app on the Pokétch is changed. In this way, his program often serves to give tips on how to use the various apps.
