kantaro

kantaro (Japanese: カンタロ; born November 28) is an artist for the Pokémon series, and an illustrator who has contributed artwork to the Pokémon Trading Card Game since 2022, the first of which was Colress's Experiment from the Crown Zenith expansion.

Besides contributing artwork for the Pokémon TCG, kantaro has also contributed artwork for Project VOLTAGE, creating designs for Hatsune Miku as an Ice- and Poison-type Pokémon Trainer. In 2024, he was in charge of the Pokémon Day 2024 video POKÉDANCE, as the animation director, and also designed the character dancing with the Kanto first partner Pokémon.[2]
