Jeanette is from [[Crimson City]]. Similar to [[Mandi|The Astounding Mandi]], Jeanette was also very popular. When she entered the stadium, Jeanette had a red carpet laid out for her, and flower petals were tossed on her, and even had a {{wp|Ōendan|cheering squad}} of her own.

Ash was confident he could beat Jeanette, and even took out her first two {{OBP|Pokémon|species}} ({{p|Beedrill}} and {{p|Scyther}}) without a problem. Her third Pokémon, a {{p|Bellsprout}}, seemed a surprising choice for her last Pokémon, but thanks to its unusual flexibility and agility it ended up defeating {{AP|Bulbasaur}} and {{AP|Pikachu}} flawlessly. It was finally defeated by {{AP|Muk}}'s {{m|Body Slam}}.  

|desc={{p|Beedrill}} was the first Pokémon which Jeanette chose to use during her match against Ash, sending it against Ash's {{p|Bulbasaur}}. They both kept dodging each other's attacks until Ash told Bulbasaur to use {{m|Leech Seed}} on Beedrill. The seed started to drain Beedrill's energy, and Bulbasaur then finished it with a Tackle.

Beedrill's known moves are {{m|Tackle}}{{tt|*|Beedrill cannot legally learn Tackle in the games.}}, {{m|Twineedle}} and {{m|Poison Sting}}.}}

|desc={{p|Scyther}} was the second Pokémon which Jeanette used during her battle against Ash. It managed to strike Ash's Bulbasaur several times with the protection of its Double Team, but finally Bulbasaur managed to break through it with {{m|Vine Whip}} and finish Scyther off.

Scyther's known moves are {{m|Slash}}, {{m|Swift}}{{tt|*|The move was incorrectly referred as Quick Attack in the dub.}} and {{m|Double Team}}.}}

|desc={{p|Bellsprout}} was Jeanette's last Pokémon which she used during her battle against Ash. Despite of its weak look, it proved to be quite strong, being able to absorb the energy from Bulbasaur's Tackles and send it right back at it, {{m|slam}}ming Bulbasaur around until it was defeated.

Ash next chose to use {{p|Pikachu}}, which attempted to use its {{t|Electric}} attacks on Bellsprout. After dodging Pikachu's {{m|ThunderShock}}, Bellsprout was hit by a {{m|Thunderbolt}}, but the Flower Pokémon simply used its legs as small lightning rods, conducting the electricity to the ground and leaving Bellsprout itself undamaged. Soon after Bellsprout took Pikachu out with a slam to the Electric Mouse Pokémon's head.

Now Ash had only one Pokémon left—{{p|Muk}}. The Sludge Pokémon proved to be too tough for Bellsprout, as all of its attacks simply bounced off from Muk's slimy body, leaving Muk undamaged. Ash then had Muk use Body Slam, trapping Bellsprout under the Sludge Pokémon's poisonous body, and Bellsprout was finally defeated.

==In The Electric Tale of Pikachu manga==

Jeanette Fisher appears in ''[[The Electric Tale of Pikachu]]'' manga during the Indigo League in chapter ''[[ET12|Welcome to the Big Leagues]]''. Like in the anime, she battled with Ash, but was eventually defeated.
