Janina: Difference between revisions

Janina appeared in several episodes of the anime. Her first appearance was in ''[[EP208|Fight for the Light]]''. She challenged {{Ash}} to a battle, but cheated by putting water-resistant polish on her {{p|Onix}}. After apologizing, she helped Ash and the others go to [[Cianwood City]] to help get medicine for Jasmine's sick {{p|Ampharos}}, [[Amphy|Sparkle]].

She also helped out during Jasmine and Ash's gym battle in ''[[EP224|Nerves of Steelix]]'', acting as the referee. One of her dreams is to become a strong Pokémon Trainer, and Ash told her that he would eventually come back to battle her when she became stronger.

|desc={{p|Onix}} is Janina's only known Pokémon. It first appeared when Janina posed as [[Jasmine]] and battled {{Ash}} in a gym battle which she cheated using a water resistant polish. Ash called out his {{AP|Totodile}} and used {{m|Water Gun}} which did no damage from the polish, Onix then {{m|Tackle|tackled}} Totodile and fainted it. Ash then sent out {{AP|Pikachu}} and used {{m|Agility}} before being stopped by Jasmine. Jasmine tells Janina to scrub the polish off Onix which she does.

Later when {{TRT}} are causing havoc in the [[Shining Lighthouse|Glitter Lighthouse]], Onix sees the smoke caused by {{TP|James|Weezing}} she decides to go and investigate. She finds Team Rocket in there [[Team Rocket's mechas|balloon]], [[Jessie]] orders {{TP|Jessie|Arbok}} to use {{m|Poison Sting}} which Onix deflects. Team Rocket try to escape by sea where Onix can't go. Onix goes on the tsunami barriers and swings its body latching onto Arbok and swinging them sending them blasting off.

As Janina offered a 3-on-3 match, Janina has at least two other Pokémon on her.
