In-game trade: Difference between revisions

In [[Generation I]], there are two unique trades which were implemented into {{2v2|Red|Blue}} and {{game|Yellow}} but were never assigned to any NPC in game. From the {{player}}'s perspective, these are a {{p|Butterfree}} for {{p|Beedrill}} trade and a {{p|Pidgeot}} for {{p|Pidgeot}} trade respectively. The nickname of the traded Beedrill, originally known as "{{tt|チクチク|Chikuchiku}}" in {{2v2|Red|Green}} was <!--romanised--> converted to "{{tt|CHIKUCHIKU|Literally 'prick' or 'prickle'}}" in {{2v2|Red|Blue}}. For unknown reasons, the data for this trade remained in {{game|Yellow}}, though the nickname of the Beedrill was changed to "STINGER". Pokémon Yellow introduced the unused {{p|Pidgeot}} for {{p|Pidgeot}} trade. The nickname of the received Pidgeot is "MARTY".
