His nickname is '''{{m|Dragon Rage}} Ikari''' (Japanese: '''ドラゴンのイカリ''' ''Ikari the Dragon''), because of the draconic vibe he gives off. He is a Pokémon Ping-Pong player and was known for winning the [[Pokémon Ping-Pong tournament]] to become Pokémon Ping-Pong champion of [[Alola]] year after year. During one such competition, he defeated [[Ilima]] in the finals and they formed a rivalry.

In the present day, he took part in another tournament. After he reached the finals, he went up against Ilima once more, but was finally defeated. After his defeat, Ikari and Ilima ended their animosity towards one another, as did their Pokémon.
